Just wanted to share wildflower photos I took at Trophy Club Park (on the shores of Lake Grapevine) and Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano. We were just at Trophy Club Park yesterday, so the flowers I spotted are very recent. There were many large patches of horsemint, yellow coneflowers, a pink flower I have not seen before, and a few remaining firewheels. I also photographed pink thistle, white dasies and a yellow flower I am not familiar with. We went to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve three weeks ago, but I went in June last year and saw many of the same flowers. I apologize for not posting a report earlier, but we were busy with our California vacation. We saw firewheels, verbena, thistle, coneflowers, horsemint, silver leaf night shade, basketflowers, prairie bishop and yellow daisies. I have also included a few pictures of flowers I have found in my area in the neighborhood parks and wetlands. I have enjoyed seeing different flowers in these parks all spring and some are new to me. I have included a link to some photos.
