2006 Earth Day at Riverside Nature Center Date: Saturday, April 22, 2006
Riverside Nature Center and the Kerrville Chapter of the Native Plant Society are again co-sponsoring this great event at the Center. The grounds will be beautiful; the plant sale will be bigger and better than ever; the education programs and demonstrations will be outstanding; and the food, music, displays and children's nature activities will make it a wonderful outing for the whole family. Plus, admission is FREE! Come and enjoy!! Note: WildflowerHaven.com will be conducting a presentation on Hunting Texas Wildflowers from 1-2pm. Car Displays: 2 Toyota Prius by Dr. Don Robinson; Ford’s Escape from Ken Stoepel Ford; and 2 Antique/Classic car(s) by Hill Country Car Club (parking lot area)
Escorted Canoe Rides!!!— available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.—FEE: $2.00 per adult; $1.00 per kid 12 & under—kids must be accompanied by an adult (down by the Guadalupe)
