03-20-2007, 6:48 PM RichO Joined on 02-15-2005 San Antonio, TX Posts 637 Hondo: US 90 - Large field of Bluebonnets I just received a phone report from a friend who was driving back to San Antonio via US 90. My friend reports there is a large field of bluebonnets along the side of the highway just west of Hondo. The field is about 1/2 mile long and 50 yds deep. The coverage looks to be about 80% with blooms. Hondo is about 40 miles west of San Antonio.   RichO Hunting Texas Wildflowers    Report
