Early summer in The Woodlands

The scarlet clover is going to seed and the bluebonnets are showing the strain of dealing with temperatures in the mid to high 80s. We finally got some of the rain that central Texas had during the week on Saturday but it is sunny and very warm on Sunday. So it looks like it may be a short season for some of our favorite wildflowers here?

Sorry to hear that. NOAA was forecasting a cold front come into Texas this week, so perhaps that will bring temps back down to normal.  I just got in from an all day trip through parts of the Hill Country. Everything looks in full bloom, but will about one week to peak bloom and two weeks to beyond peak.
