Selma: Lots of Bluebonnets

Wiederstein road used to be a secret place for bluebonnets. Once fields of bluebonnets covered the area, but now a subdivision is once again trying to get started. Bluebonnets are still covering the area that once were fields, but now are lots. There are at least four large lots moderately covered with bluebonnets. The bluebonnets have just peaked, but they should last until Easter.

If you would like to purchase a lot with wildflowers then this is your chance. I'm fairly certain that if you go to the sales office they will give you a tour and let you take some photos.

Wiederstein Road is just one street east of I-10. It runs between Schertz Parkway and FM-1518. I think the area is technically in Selma which is on the northeast side of San Antonio.

There is also a field along the I-10 access road between FM-1518 and Schertz Parkway.
