I'll be very interested in what you find. I have not been to the Big Bend and West Texas area to photograph wildflowers. I was going to go this year, but thought it would not be a good year. There were spots in West Texas and the Big Bend that got good rainfall in Aug-Sep, but not since then.

Rich,

     No wildflowers blooming along Highway 10 near Ozona, Texas.

Big Bend as well as the rest of the southwest US has been exceedingly dry since the fall.  Reports from visitors during spring break say that there were very few wildflowers.  About the only thing that will bloom in any numbers will be the cacti.  They don't rely as much on consistent rainfall.
