I shot these on TX-36N near Brenham the past Friday (4/06) I got some automated e-mail from the boardmaster Rich-O regarding the condition near Brenham I didn't really go over them. I thought bluebonnets are going to be everywhere when I arrive. Turns out that's really not the truth. I actually drove around and searched a little until I found this field. I talked to around 4 to 5 groups of people stopping by taking pictures, some told me there are better ( maybe more varieties of flower ) fields. Since it's already pretty late in the day ( I arrived around 5:30PM ), so I just sticked with this one... The only regret was the cloud a little too overcasted, I tried not to catch too many sky in the picture ( just too pale ). Well, I still had a nice evening playing in the field, bluebonnet smells really really good!
