05-10-2007, 7:36 PM RichO Joined on 02-15-2005 San Antonio, TX Posts 637 Ten Miles of Mealy Blue Sage - Updated A friend phoned me to tell me about a 10 mile stretch of fields of mealy blue sage along SH-41 between US 83 and RR-1340.  Mealy blue sage can produce some thick and beautiful displays. There are scattered stretches of mealy blue sage in fields along SH-41 from US 87 to I-10. The section from RR-1340 to US 87 provides the best views. Indian blanket, blue sage, greenthread, wine cups, blue curls and others covered the roadsides where I stopped.   RichO Hunting Texas Wildflowers    Report
