I've posted a couple photos in the Gulf Coast gallery taken this afternoon. This bunch of gay feather seems to show up about this time every year and is just north of Woodlands Parkway on Branch Crossing.

Flowers will brighten your day whether mild or wild, Murry!

Thanks Murry for the report. Nice work on the photos. It seems a bit early for the gay feathers to be blooming...at least in the Hill Country.

I'm hoping my work schedule will allow me to go hunt some bluebells, but gayfeathers are also make a nice photo.  Between work and rain, I have not had much time to get out and about.
