Rich,
When I wrap the URL with the BBCodes they look fine and the photos display in the edit mode but when I post and then look at it the brackets have become less than/greater than signs and the photos don't appear. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks!
Murry

Murry,
What brand/version of browser are you using?

I have upgraded one of my computers to Vista using IE 7. On that computer I can no longer use the BBCodes nor can I see the rich text menu.

This weekend I am going to see if there is a config that I can change that will allow IE 7 to be used.

I will also see if I can fix your post using my older computer that has XP and IE 6.

Thanks again for your continuing contributions.

Rich,
I recently had a hard disk crash (3rd time on Western Digital drives in my Dell desktop) and had a local guru build me a new "NO-NAME" PC and although I had her put my XP Pro back on the computer I see she did install IE7 so that is probably the problem. I'll wait and see what you do this weekend but maybe I need to change browser or version??
Thanks

No you should not have to change back to IE 6.

The problem is with the version of the forum software I am using. I plan to replace it for next season with completely new software. For this season, I will see if I can patch it so it will work with IE7.

Murry,
It looks like the problem is with a component the supports the rich text editor. Unfornately, I have not been able to upgrade that component to the version that supports IE 7.

For now my workaround is to merely come after and fix the messages with my XP/IE 6 computer.

I have successfully fixed yours.

Thanks Rich! No need for you to go to all that trouble so for now I'll just post links to the photos and if anyone wants to have a look they can. The emoticons do not seem to work either? Ain't progress wonderful? If things change I'm sure you'll announce it. BTW we got a lot of rain both Friday and Saturday nights!
