Each year The Woodlands seed wildflowers along a lot of the main streets and the show has definetly started with the recent warm weather. I shot yesterday for an hour or so and have a few of the photos processed and up at this link: http://grigsbys.smugmug.com/gallery/4439942_4jSjS
Lots of bluebonnets and other beauties so anyone close by might enjoy a trip here this week after the rain passes by today (if it ever shows up?). I'd be happy to help with directions but I've noted some hot locations in my previous post.
If the "REAL" wildflowers fail to show up this year and you're looking for a Texas trip there is an old garden that has been revitalized and reopened in Orange, Texas called Shangrila: http://www.shangrilagardens.org/
I may mosey over there later this spring and check it out?
Flowers will brighten your day whether mild or wild, Murry!
