beautiful bluebonnet sightings in Dallas County

By: marsha

Observed: 3/29/2008

Wildflowers Sighted: Bluebonnet Type: ;#Early Bloom;#Full Bloom;# Coverage: Moderate (>30% <60%)
Directions: don't know exact town, but I was north on Loop 12 (spur 408) headed toward Main St exit in GP, it was just on the left on a hill after you get on Loop 12 off the Mountaincreek Lake Bridge (Google Maps link) Location: Dallas County
They were thick in spots but really pretty!

I have seen these as well. Head South on Loop12, past I-30. Loop 12 branches into Spur 408.On the west side of SP 408, there are patches of blue. As you exit SP 408 onto I-20 West, there are also some large blue patches on the right.
