Small field of bluebonnets along Loop 1604
I got report from a friend who spotted a small field of bluebonnets blooming along the east side of Loop 1604 between Culebra and Hwy 151 on the west/northwest side of San Antonio (Google Maps link)

Re: Small field of bluebonnets along Loop 1604

I drove by this field today (4/6/2008). The field is directly in front of Home Depot. The bluebonnets are past peak bloom and must are already going to seed. The coverage looks like 30-40% bluebonnets in small patches scattered throughout the field. Sadly, I think this field will soon be gone as it looks like the area is zone for small stores.
