Ennis Garden Club reports that it is still too early for a good showing and does not recommend driving the trails at this time. 04-08-2008, 6:41 AM tony_texas Joined on 01-03-2006 Posts 30 Re: Ennis status We are certainly starting to see bluebonnets popping up on the roadsides and medians in the DFW area.  Nothing dramatic yet but looks like another couple of weeks or so.  I am planning to get to Ennis on April 18th and may try and stop in at Cedar Hill SP on the way back.
