Bluebonnets in DFW
Reply Quote
Along I-30 from Grand Prairie to Arlington there are significant patches of bluebonnets on the northside of the highway. In Grand Prairie, on the south side of the highway there is a few patches of bluebonnets with some indian paintbrush thrown in for good measure.

I was out at Cedar Hill State Park last week and only a few bluebonnets were popping up.

Hi Edd,
Thanks for the update. Cedar Hill State Park bluebonnets are usually found at the beginning and along parts of Dorba trail. Did you happen to go there?

Were you able to get over to Ennis yet?

Thanks again for the report.

Not yet. I plan to cover the area extensively on Saturday. Any suggestions?

The Ennis Garden Club last week stated that the blooms are not quite there yet. I am sure I will find out one way or another.
