From what I've read Texas bluebells don't fair well as trans-plants but prefer to reseed themselves. Most of the ones I've seen have been in open fields with plenty of sunshine and not too much moister. Good luck!
The best way to preserve wildflowers is to leave them be (don't dig them up) and let them do their own thing so everyone can enjoy them. Next time take a photo and post it here or take it to a nursery for identification and then buy seeds or plants from a place like the Wild Seed Farm or a nursery if you want plants of your own.
