Bluebells in Washington County

Not a lot but I was surprised to see two dried fields along highway 50 between 105 and 360 with stripes of bluebells. I'm amazed that there are any with the almost total lack of rain in south Texas! Both fields are on the west side of 50, one just south of the Antique Rose Emporium nicely along a fence row and the other farther south towards 105 out in the field. What an unexpected surprise :0) So I took 105 to Montgomery and no luck in the usual bluebell hot spots. There are just a few singles here and there in and around Montgomery. Boy do we need some rain. Here is a link to a few photos that I took -- they start on page ten of the 2009 wildflower gallery.
