03-26-2010, 8:04 PM RichO Joined on 02-15-2005 San Antonio, TX Posts 1,167 Sutherland Springs: Large Field of Sandyland Bluebonnets 3/26/20010 Found (not easy to miss it from US 87) a very large field of sandyland bluebonnets along CR-307 off US 87 just northwest of Sutherland Springs on the way towards LaVernia. http://www.pbase.com/richo/image/123057653/large Saw a few other smalled fields on the way to LaVernia, but did not venture off US 87. The main thread through my tour of Poteet, Floresville and LaVernia areas was - virtually no bluebonnets in medians along major highways.
