Geeked [8-|] Just got a call from my husband who is on the road, US Hwy 183 north of Brownwood.  He said the roadside flowers were spectacular, particularly around Rising Star.  Not being a wildflower freak like me, he doesn't know the names of what he is seeing, but he thinks there are BBs, white BBs, and lots of "coral,"  I assume those must be Indian Paintbrushes.  He said the mixture of colors is what is so beautiful.  That is a pretty good distance from Austin, but I think I may drive up there tomorrow and check it out.  Maybe I'll see some of you there!

Thanks for the report!

I got a report from someone in the San Angelo area.  They said their property is covered with bluebonnts.
