The wildflowers in the median and on the roadsides along FM242 here in The Woodlands really perked up after our Mothers Day rain.  Lots of coreopsis, indian blankets, etc.  Mostly yellow flowers but a few pink phlox also.

Several of the main roads and sides roads in Kendall County are moderately covered with a variety of wildflowers.  I am seeing fairly large patches of mealy sage along several roads, indian blanket, coreopsis, wine cups etc.

Have you any photos?

Unfortunately FM242 is just too busy to even try any photos.  Our little country bypass has become part of the SPRAWL Sad [:(]  I really need to get out in the country and take advantage of this uncommonly cool SE Texas weather before the dog days of summer!

We have a lot of medians wilth wildflowers and stuff up here in DFW so I usually get up early Sunday morning and shoot. This works really well with busy streets and FMs.
