Wild Indigo Those strange yellow flowers that put one in mind of wisteria between Bastrop and Paige on Hwy 21 are Wild Plains Indigo. Posted By: colette       Date: 4/22/2005 8:32:19 PM I don't remember exactly where I was, but it was along Hwy 21 going NE from Bastrop before intersecting with 290. I saw many of them for several miles before I was able to spot one and stop safely. I had never seen these plants before and it was quite exciting. The trip was on 4/5/05 so I dont know if they are still blooming. And thanx for your kind comment.
