Even though the bluebonnets are sprinkled with yellow this is a terrific spot to shoot the kids, pets, etc in a big patch of wildflowers. There is plenty of room to park and the field is not fenced.

Just as you come into Nelsonvill on TX159 you'll see a neat farm on the hill with a Texas windmillwith a white church further up the hill. Walk to the bottom of the unfenced field opposite the church to snap this image.

I try not to exaggerate when describing my sightings but this 64 acre filed is amazing and I try to visit it each year. It's for sale if you'd like to buy it and save the flowers.

There was a small patch of these beautys at the top (west end) of the 64 acre field of wildflowers in Industry.

Hwy 21 is 4 lane there, with a large divide and space to pull off the road. This area is called the Lost Pines and is quite beautiful.

Those strange yellow flowers that put one in mind of wisteria between Bastrop and Paige on Hwy 21 are Wild Plains Indigo.

This property is right off the road, only a couple of miles outside of Brenham, on the right. There is ample space to pull off the road.
