Dogwood Sweep in Davey Dogwood Park in Palestine, Texas The Davey Dogwood Park is just north of Palestine, Texas off of loop256 at Link Street.. The roads are quite narrow so looking is all you can do safely. Go to the picnic area in the center of the park where you can park and easily shoot photos of the dogwood trees and blooms. Some trees are full out and some are in early bloom. The park looks like it is decorated with thousands of small white lights.
