Re: Wow! Was I pleasantly surprise!

Thanks for sharing that bit of excellent news. I think we wildflower enthusiasts are wired a bit differently than the rest of the world. To see wildflowers mowed down is a travesty, but apparently not everyone sees it that way. I have to look the other way as I drive to work each day past some county road maintenance ...

Although I am not advertising for Ritz/Wolf Camera per se, I had a photo book made of my best shots of the 2010 season and am extremely pleased with it. I'm sure there are other vendors who will do this as well. I chose their premium book, it has a photo for the front cover and one for the back cover. If you haven't thought of ...

I decided not to try to do Willow City Loop. After 4 full-day wildflower runs, I am tuckered out. I've been there before in a good year (2003) and I can't imagine that it would surpass the Mason area this year.

You are right, words cannot describe, and I might add, photos cannot do it justice. The best I can think of are spectacular, breath-taking, and magnificent. I was there yesterday, 4/14/10 and the sights are burned into my brain. We didn't even have time to make any of the routes, just a few miles on 386 and a couple of miles down ...

Speaking of sensory overload, after retiring Tues. night (the day we went to the Stockdale/Floresville, etc. area), I saw wildflowers when I closed my eyes to go sleep. It was so great that we're going back on Sat.!

Tony, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your report. I went to Seguin-Stockdale-Lavernia-Floresville-Pleasanton. It was the most spectacular display of wildflowers that I have every seen. My photographer friend who accompanied me is so enthused that we may go back this coming Sat. and try to get to Natalia ...

Where is New Bremen? I did a google map search and it had a New Bremen rd in New Ulm, (but no town by that name), which is no where near S.A. Please advise. Thanx!
